Squeeee.
I've been kind of stuck on Lector and Nesbitt interaction for the last several days, with Nesbitt as the victim in hurt/comfort situations to try testing Lector's reactions. That ended up with me crushing on Nesbitt a bit. (Help, I think he looks cute/handsome and I really like picturing him without the suitcoat and with his shirt unbuttoned at the top and his tie loosened. And I love his voice. I'm a sucker for a deep voice.) Then tonight I had the urge to look up the Nightmare Troubadour duels with the Big Five. I'd already seen what Lector says to you when you first meet him, and I wanted to see what the others said. For some reason, seeing those clips and thinking anew about being able to duel them in their true forms in that game sent me bouncing off the walls, squeeing and having fangirly moments. I felt very awkward and embarrassed to like the Big Five several months ago, but I've made peace with it by now and even take pride in it. And I have no shame about fangirling their interactions with each other. It would be fun if they were all available in Duel Links and you could have them duel each other and see what they'd say to each other.
Also, Nesbitt's Nightmare Troubadour insult of "You look about as threatening as a water pistol" is kind of funny. LOL. I think I'll have to use it in a fic sometime.
(... And I refuse to accept that the canon spelling is Nezbitt. That looks so strange, not even like a real name. Do any real people actually spell it like that? If they do, my apologies.)
I really enjoyed what all of them had to say, although naturally I most enjoyed the commentary from my favorites Lector, Gansley, and Nesbitt. And Crump actually seemed kind of endearing. Johnson is my least favorite, but I've really been enjoying trying to explore him and make him more sympathetic in my fics.
I keep getting distracted from my current fic by writing random blurbs for the 31 Days prompts, usually of the hurt/comfort variety. This month's prompts remind me of the Big Five, and oh boy, am I going to have a huge post on Amnesty Day this month....
I did figure out how to wrap up the problem in the Bendy fic, with the fallen people missing and the coffins empty. And Manga Yami Bakura has been Mind Crushed and maybe by the time he wakes up I'll have decided if it's possible to redeem him. I'm still not sure what to think. The current fic is going back to New Orleans to testify against Dr. Raven and Lector's father, and getting caught up in a ghost mystery at Evangeline's current residence. I didn't get to do as much ghostly stuff as I wanted in the first New Orleans fic, and it's a chance to write a story like I thought that Nancy Drew parody would be, so this is a lot of fun.
