So now LJ is apparently making up tags for me? It stuck the number fifty in as a tag and claims there's one usage of it. Naturally, when I click, it goes nowhere since there is no such tag. I deleted it from the list. It had better not come back. Or be replaced by another. I really do not appreciate my journal being tinkered with in any way. I also hate how if you write a number in an entry, it will automatically get linked to a search for it. Maybe that's only if there's a hashtag with it, but ugh, this isn't Twitter! People I know use LJ because it isn't Twitter. Or Facebook, etc. And we liked it better before the changes that started to make it more like them.

But seriously, making up tags? That is inexcusable. Unless it's some kind of a glitch. And if it is, it had better be fixed quickly, unlike how they claimed the extra ads were a glitch yet they did nothing about them until apparently the last mass migration from the site in April.

LOL. Yay, hi! Brownies are awesome!

Well, back in April they updated their Terms of Service and it sounds like their Russian branch has taken over and I couldn't understand what I was even agreeing to because they kept referring to articles and such that Russian people apparently would know and they didn't specify things very well for people from other countries and it drove me nuts. A lot of people won't leave LJ, though, so I'm compromising by cross-posting to LJ from here. :)

Are you on Dreamwidth much? I'd love to talk to you more again! Tumblr is usually an extreme pain for me.

Ooooh, I see, that would indeed be. Frightening. Hm. I'll have to look if I ever get the time and energy for it!

I've been trying to get on here more often (and drag more people over here to keep me company) but failing. But I shall try harder because same :D Yeah tumblr can be. hahaha.

Yep. Very distressing! That was my big thing, but I think most of the others who left LJ over that debacle were upset about something in the Terms of Service that made it sound like they'll take any part of what we put on the site and use it however they like, if they feel like it. Fanfiction writers particularly got upset. A lot of people deleted their LJs' contents after that and only kept the accounts at all to exchange messages with people, which were then also deleted.

Awesome! I should try Tumblr again, because it worked alright for a while, but all those GIFs eventually bogged the browser's memory wat down.
